The Ellis Beauregard Foundation has gifted me with quiet time and creative space to focus on completing my opera, THAT HELL-BOUND TRAIN. The pandemic disrupted our normal development process as we shifted to a patchwork approach (E.G. solo arias over Zoom, reduced cast reading.) My residency has focused on gathering this feedback and assessing the score, setting myself up with a clear vision on how to complete the composing of Act 2.
