My large-scale collages and paintings depict bodies in spaces that are familiar and strange. Fragments of stories about time, intimacy, queer space, and magic are flipped and folded. Stories are discovered through methods that allow me to expand, play, and experiment. Figures are intertwined, lost in themselves and one another, and creating new ways of relating to the world around them. Compositions are pulled together with shape, pattern, and color. Influenced by comics and animation, process shows in the ways I cut and layer the ideas I must grab at.
